The ‘African Forum on Youth Skills and Enterprise in the Digital Era” brought together senior policy makers, government administration senior officials, development partners, private sector, representatives of African youth, young entrepreneurs, civil society, and experts to showcase, share, and discuss comprehensive innovative TVSD/TVET models and programmes that aim at developing the leadership and digital skills of young people, and equipping them with the necessary knowledge, tools and know-how to design marketable products and services, in order to create sustainable enterprises and generate employment.
HARARE –The third edition of the African Day of School Feeding was officially opened on the 1st March 2018 by Honorable CDE K.C.D. Mohadi Vice-President of Zimbabwe and celebrated under the patronage of the Zimbabwean government. This year’s theme is ‘Realizing the African Child’s Full Potential through Effective Home-Grown School Feeding.’

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 29 November 2017 – The Human Resources, Science and Technology Department of the African Union Commission in collaboration with the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA) and Save the Children International organized a workshop from 27th November to 1st December 2017 to validate the Continental Education Strategy for Africa 2016–2025 (CESA 16-25) Indicators Framework and Launch of CESA Clusters on Education Planning and Peace and Education.
Zambia, Lusaka August 28, 2017 – The African Union Commission (AUC), the Government of Zambia, the Forum of African Women Educationalists (FAWE), the Association for the Development of Education in Africa, UNESCO, Plan International, UN WOMEN, UNICEF and Microsoft Philanthropies co-convened from the Inaugural Conference on Girls’ Education in Africa, which was held from the 23rd to the 24th of August 2017.
The Conference organised under the theme of Girls’ Education in Africa aimed to strengthen Youth Leadership and Engagement in promoting Education for all especially young girls in line with the African Union’s Continental Education Strategy for Africa (CESA 16-25) and Agenda 2063.
